MCM Marchetti has carried out a technological innovation project under the Transition 5.0 Plan, aimed at modernising its production processes and improving the energy efficiency of its production facilities.
The project involved the installation of a second, more powerful laser, able to process sheet metal thicker than 25 mm with plasma cutting, falling under the “machine tools operating by laser and other energy-flow processes, electro-discharge machining, electrochemical processes” referred to in Annex A.
The project pursues the following objectives:
– innovating and improving the efficiency of the company's production processes;
– reducing energy consumption, in line with the objectives of the Transition 5.0 Plan;
– fostering the company's digital and energy transition through the introduction of innovative technologies and solutions.
The project benefits from the incentives provided for by Art. 38 of Italian Decree-Law no. 19 of 2 March 2024, converted with amendments by Law no. 56 of 29 April 2024, under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR), funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU.
